Daughters of Ra was founded by best friends and avid travelers, Carmyn & Alexandria, from a meeting of minds and a movement of self-expression and self-love. Through a labor of love, their pieces hope to inspire each wearer to stand out, be bold, and express their truest Self.

THE WEARER

The Daughters of Ra wearer is a leader - grounded, deeply connected, and curious. They are always yearning for discovery, to go beyond the places and experiences everyone else is so tied up in, and find the undiscovered elements of the world. They spend time understanding and indulging in their passions and self-discovery through traveling, immersing themselves in the rich tapestry of culture and art.  

THE DESIGNERS

For designer Carmyn, Daughters of Ra has been a narration of her travels, heritage, and a journey to her self-discovery and self-expression. Having traveled to nearly 60 countries, Carmyn's inspiration comes from the magic and beauty all over the world that she has deeply immersed herself in - with respect, love and appreciation. 

For designer Alexandria, Daughters of Ra is a culmination of generations of sewing and designing passed down from her great grandmother. Inspired by the women in her family, Alexandria started illustrating her own designs and gave them to her grandmother to help bring those unique pieces to life. What started out as a simple hobby by being able to wear one-of-a-kind custom hand made pieces, became a dream set into reality when she joined forces with Carmyn to bring her uniqueness to the world.
